Globe Valve Supplier in India — Aarya Sales
Globe valves are the preferred choice for throttling and flow regulation in steam, oil, water, and gas services. The disc moves perpendicular to the seat, enabling precise flow control across a wide range of operating conditions. Aarya Sales supplies globe valves in sizes 15 NB to 600 NB, pressure classes Class 150# to Class 1500#.
Available in T-pattern, Y-pattern (angle body), and oblique body designs. Materials: Cast Iron, Carbon Steel (A216 WCB), SS 304/316/316L, Alloy Steel (WC6/WC9), Bronze. Standards: BS 1873, API 623, IS 778, DIN 3356. IBR-certified globe valves available for steam applications. Actuation options: handwheel, gear, pneumatic, and electric.
Frequently Asked Questions
A globe valve uses a movable disc against a stationary ring seat to regulate, throttle, or stop flow. Unlike gate valves, globe valves offer excellent throttling characteristics and are widely used in steam, condensate, hot water, oil, and gas lines where flow control is needed.
Gate valves are designed for on/off isolation with minimal pressure drop when fully open. Globe valves are designed for throttling — the flow path through the body creates higher pressure drop but allows precise flow regulation. Globe valves are preferred where flow control is required.
We supply globe valves from 15 NB (½") to 600 NB (24") in Class 150#, 300#, 600#, 900#, and 1500# as per ASME B16.34. Custom sizes available on request.
Yes. We supply IBR-certified globe valves for steam lines operating above 3.5 kg/cm² or 160°C. All IBR globe valves come with Form III-C inspection certificates and traceability documentation.
Cast Iron, Carbon Steel (ASTM A216 WCB), Stainless Steel (CF8/CF8M), Low Temp Carbon Steel (LCB), Alloy Steel (WC6/WC9), Bronze, and Monel. Body-seat material combinations selected based on process fluid and temperature.
Steam distribution systems, cooling water regulation, fuel oil service, feedwater heaters, process plants, pharmaceutical manufacturing, power generation, and anywhere precise flow throttling and shutoff are required simultaneously.
