Control Valve
Aarya Sales supplies a wide range of control valves in India, designed to regulate fluid flow in industrial systems by adjusting the size of the flow passage based on signals from a controller. These valves play a critical role in maintaining process parameters such as flow rate, pressure, temperature, and liquid level.
A control valve functions as the final control element in an automated control loop, ensuring accurate and stable system performance. It typically consists of a valve body, which manages the flow, and an actuator, which provides the force required to operate the valve.
Sourced from trusted manufacturers, control valves are widely used in oil & gas, power generation, chemical processing, water treatment, and industrial automation systems, offering precision control, reliability, and efficient operation.
Control Valve Supplier in India — Aarya Sales
Control valves (pneumatic/electric actuated) automatically regulate flow, pressure, temperature, and level in process plants. Aarya Sales supplies globe-type, ball-type, butterfly-type, and cage-guided control valves in sizes 15 NB to 600 NB, Class 150# to Class 300#.
We offer pneumatic diaphragm actuators (fail-open/fail-close), electric multi-turn and quarter-turn actuators, and electro-hydraulic actuators. Smart positioners (HART, Fieldbus, PROFIBUS), valve controllers, and I/P converters available. Materials: CS, SS 316, Alloy Steel. Standards: IEC 60534, ANSI/FCI 70-2, ISA 75. Approved by BHEL, NTPC, ONGC, and EIL for critical process service.
Frequently Asked Questions
A control valve modulates process variables (flow, pressure, temperature, level) by varying the flow area through the valve body in response to a signal from a process controller (PLC/DCS). The actuator (pneumatic or electric) positions the valve plug or disc based on the 4–20 mA or digital control signal.
Pneumatic actuators (diaphragm or piston type) use compressed air (typically 3–15 psi or 4–20 mA via I/P converter) for fast, reliable actuation with inherent fail-safe (spring return). Electric actuators use a motor gearbox and are preferred where instrument air is unavailable. Pneumatic actuators are generally faster and more common in process plants.
Globe (single-seated and double-seated) for precise throttling, cage-guided for high-pressure drop and cavitation-prone service, rotary ball and butterfly for large flows and low-pressure drop, angle body for flashing and cavitation service, and three-way valves for mixing or diverting service.
Cv (flow coefficient) is the US unit: flow in US GPM of water at 60°F for 1 psi pressure drop. Kv is the SI equivalent (m³/h for 1 bar ΔP). Rangeability is the ratio of maximum to minimum controllable Cv, typically 30:1 to 100:1 for quality control valves. Our engineers can calculate the correct Cv for your application.
We supply HART-communicating (4-wire and 2-wire), FOUNDATION Fieldbus, and PROFIBUS PA smart positioners from major brands. These enable remote diagnostics, partial-stroke testing, and valve health monitoring integrated with DCS/PLC systems.
Yes. We supply EIL (Engineers India Limited) approved and BHEL-approved control valves for refinery, fertilizer, petrochemical, and power plant projects. Full MTC, IBR certification, and third-party inspection by TPIA agencies available.
